Description
The filter foams are available in red, blue and purple, each a different filter grade. The blue sponges are coarser and will trap the larger particles of waste, whereas the red are much finer in order to trap the small pieces. Thanks to the unique ‘screenex’ built in to the unit, large particles are strained away before they hit the filter foams, which prolongs their life and lowers the amount of maintenance needed.
