Female to female threaded sockets are for connecting two pieces of hose together, both sides of the connector are the same size.

A Socket is a hollow threaded fitting that features female ends of matching diameter and BSP thread. A Nipple is a hollow threaded fitting that features male ends of matching diameter and BSP thread. Sockets and Nipples are commonly used to convert male threads to female or female threads to male.
All our fittings are BSP (British Standard Pipe). That means they are made to a BSP thread size and do not match up with what you would measure on a ruler.
